I am wearing them in an ice climbing boot, so the thickness made the fit too tight. With the tighter fit, I can feel the heating pad under my foot, which was a bit uncomfortable (for me). Putting the socks on, I was afraid of yanking the cord that runs up the socks. Batteries are a little on the bulky side.
With these issues, you might be wondering how I can give it 4 stars. These socks would be great for someone that is using them in hiking boots, snow boots, or something that isn't tight fitting.
I bought them to see if a heated sock would help my frozen toes problem while ice climbing, and they served the purpose. I will continue to use them, but for a different use.
